Handwritten Poetry…Twenty Six Roses and A Plaque

Posted on: April 27, 2009

These roses mark the passage of time.
And now we have aged like vintage wine.
The taste still sweet…yet so sublime.
A heart full of memories exquisitely fine.

May all your hopes and dreams come true.
May each waking moment bring good things to you.
May you know in your heart how much people care.
Golden voice…dancing eyes…smiles everywhere.

The flowers are yours to enjoy perhaps share.
With so many people so very thrilled to be there.
Gently hand each rose with a smile and then.
Watch their faces aglow…just remembering when.

Let your new joy of singing come straight from the heart.
Move their souls…touch their lives…before you depart.
As you light up their eyes…you will know it is true.
In a world full of stars…there is only one you !!!
